Welcome to my project blog. Here I'll show you what projects I'm working on and update as I get farther along. I have lots of projects in the works at this very moment!

Cloth Diapers for baby-on-the-way:

Above we have a stack of 12 (one not pictured) cloth diapers I'm working on for the baby. They're made with hemp fleece, bamboo velour, and cute outer prints. I have to trim the threads and add snaps to finish them off, as well as completing the snap in soakers.

These are three covers I've made in size newborn. These also need snaps applied, but I'll do snapping in one fell swoop. That machine is a beast!

These are the snap in soakers I mentioned before. They are three layers of hemp fleece and one top layer of bamboo velour. I think I have six of the 12 completed thus far.

Ready to be worked on are 12 cloth diapers in size small. This will fit the baby from 8-15lbs or so. The top box has the hemp fleece, bamboo velour, and knit prints while the bag on the bottom has everything for the snap-in soakers. I've got lots of sewing to do!

This is the quilt top for the blanket I'm making the baby. For those of you that are wondering the sex, this quilt gives you no clue. It is NOT a hint. This is merely gender neutral since baby didn't cooperate at the ultrasound and the state of Connecticut has banned elective ultrasounds. You'll find out in November just like me ... well, after me .. but still November!

Last, but not least, is a HUGE quilt I'm working on for Christmas. The last few years I've made quilts as the one gift I give at the Christian-Patterson family get together. I won't tell who this is for but it's for a lucky female member of the clan. You can see that this quilt is in various stages of development and trust me, there's a LONG way to go. About a week ago I had bags filled with triangles and squares only so this is a step in the right direction. This will be queen size when finished!
Isn't that green paisley fabric to die for? I walked into the fabric store and said, "Oh my goodness. I'm building this quilt around THIS fabric!!" It should be fantastic when it's done. Let's hope, anyway!
